Women's work is too often absorbed rather than attributed. Recognition is the pillar that puts contribution on the record — publicly, precisely, and permanently — so influence accumulates instead of evaporating.
Recognition is deliberately unsentimental. Each honour carries a written case for why the work matters, so the record can be read, quoted, and built on long after the room has emptied.
